In July, singer-songwriter Ashanti will do a short run as Dorothy in a revival The Wiz. The production will be held at the New York City Center as part of its "Encores!: Summer Stars" series.
The stage play starts it run June 12. Ashanti's opening night will be on June 18.
WOW!!! I dont think she has the skills to play that part and thats really said cause its an easy part....I guess we will see
