Amel Larrieux is one of the greatest singer-songwriters who has ever lived on this planet. Her lyricism is brilliant. Her voice is simply beautiful. She can sing up to five octaves and can even hit the whistle register. "Dear to Me" is definitely a song that is dear to me. To anyone who has lost a friend on this Earth and is missing them like crazy, this song is for you. The lyrics depicts her remembrance of a friend who left her by human form, but has an everlasting spirit. The love she had for them still exists. Take a listen below.

Song of the Day: "Don't Let Me Stop You" by Kelly Clarkson
.jpg)
When I first heard, I could automatically relate to it. See, it's pretty much like this. Guys try to play their games and don't put their all into. Don't want to look you in the eye while they talk or even actually kiss you, for real. So why is he wasting his time? If he really doesn't want to be with you, then let him go. Don't even stop him for leaving because you do better by yourself or an even better man in your life. That's what this song is all about.
"Don't Let Me Stop You" is sung by Kelly Clarkson. It was written by Andreas "Quiz" Romdhane, Josef Larossi, Claude Kelly, Mats Valentin. The song is on Clarkson's current album, All I Ever Wanted, which was released on March 6, 2009 through RCA Records. Take a listen below.

Song of the Day: "Breathe (2 A.M.)"

The second this song faded out, I wanted to hear it again and again and again. Indeed, this is my favorite song of all time.
"Breathe (2 A.M.)" is by Anna Nalick. She's not very prominent in the music industry, but this song has made an impact on some notable celebrities lives. It talks about how all humans make mistakes and we all struggle, but it's only temporary. We have to keep pushing on because we only live once. My favorite line is:
"You can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable
And life's like an hourglass glued to the table.
No one can find the rewind button now
So cradle your head in your hands and BREATHE."
It might not seem that simple to do, but it can be done. It just takes time. Learn from your mistakes, and grow for them. Forgive them, yourself, and everyone else as well. Be happy to just breathe another day and get another chance at life and what you may want to accomplish. Love yourselves as well! Listen to the song below.
"Breathe (2 A.M.)" is from Anna Nalick's debut album, Wreck of the Day. It was released through Columbia Records on April 19, 2005.
