The album cover for LeToya's sophomore album, Lady Love, has been revealed and it's fierce. WERK!!! She's coming out with a bang you guys, so look out! Lady Love will be released on August 25.

Mariah Carey as Eminem in New Video

Mariah Carey was spotted on the set of her new video, "Obsessed", dressed up as the one and only Eminem. Taking a first look at this picture, I wouldn't have even guessed that it was her. Not a bad job.

Carey has been shooting scenes for the video since this past weekend. As you can tell by now, the song is definitely in dedication to Eminem obsessing over her. I'm sure a diss from him will surface very soon on the web, radio, or something. Maybe he doesn't care or he actually feels a little ashamed. Anyway, I hope the video takes the songs' impact up a little higher because I'm not quite "Obsessed" with it yet. Don't get me wrong, I still love MC! She's my #2.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson

I know that this blog post is a little late, but I've been busy handling business outside of the blogging world. Today, I would be a bit selfish if I didn't start off my blog posts by remembering one of the world's greatest icons that ever lived. Michael Jackson is the epitome of a true entertainer. Words cannot expressed how much his music and his entertainment meant to me and many other fans in the world. He spoke truth in his music and saved lives. He was one of the world's biggest philanthrophist, donating money and goods to almost every leading cause on Earth. He's one of the world's greatest fashion trendsetters. If it weren't for the intricate styles that he put together to express himself, fashion wouldn't be were it is today. He has inspired almost every entertainer in our generation. I don't know any musician in this generation who hasn't stated Michael Jackson as an influence to their work today. He's one of the reasons why I started dancing. He's one of the reasons why I'm so indulged into pop culture. He's one of the reasons why I REFUSE to LIVE without MUSIC! He is hands down the GREATEST MALE ENTERTAINER THAT EVER LIVED! May he rest in peace. His family is definitely in my prayers. I'm sure this is a difficult time for them.

R.I.P. Farrah Fawcett

Famed model/actress Farrah Fawcett passed this Thursday morning in California while in the hospital, from pains of anal cancer. The actress was diagnosed with cancer three years and underwent various surgeries. She was 62 years old.

Fawcett became famous as one of the "Angels" of the 70's hit TV show, Charlie's Angels. She became a critically acclaimed movie actress after getting much praise from the blockbuster movie, Burning in Bed.

Fans and family are sadenned by the death of such a talented and beautiful individual. Her legacy will live on in pop culture forever.

Chris Brown: "Not My Fault"

Although the man is going through a tough time with the legal system and getting a lot of bull from the media, Chris Brown is hard at work with his upcoming album, Graffiti. "Not My Fault" was produced by the Neptunes and I'm have to admit that the production on this song is similar to some work that Pharrell did on Madonna's last album, Hard Candy. Step it up, please! The song is still hot though, the typical story of how hot some girl is. You can tell the track isn't finished yet because it wasn't mixed well. This is just a buzz track, no single. Listen below.

Finally, a video that us Ciara fans have been anticipating has been released. "Work" was leaked on the web yesterday and it's firece! She worked, literally. Missy has a new hairstyle in the video too. The dancers are killing it and everything. The video was directed by prominent director Melina, who has directed several of Beyoncé's videos. For those of you who have The Dream's current album, Love Vs. Money, and enjoy listening to the track "Kelly's 12 Play", a remix in full length has hit the web and it features the one and only, R. Kelly. I'm so not surprised at R. Kelly for jumping onto this track with The Dream. It's really not my cup of tea, but for those of you who love R. Kelly, I'm sure you'll love this. It's right up his alley.

She's asking her man to love her and accept for her for who she is, regardless of her imperfections. You can't change her, you have to see her for who she is. BEP's Tour Manager Charged for Assaulting Perez Hilton

Yes, yes, yes!!! Justice is served sweetly again as another person has been charged with some charges. Ha Ha Ha!!! The tour manager of the Black Eyed Peas, Polo Molina, was charged with assaulting celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, after punching him while leaving a club party in Toronto on early Monday morning.

Molina turned himself in today and has to appear in court on August 5.

That man deserves to be charged. VIOLENCE IS NOT THE ANSWER!

Rihanna Doesn't Testify, Chris Cops a Plea

So, as I suspected, Rihanna did not testify against ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in court this afternoon. All she did was walk into the courtroom, the judge told her what was going to happen and what Chris was ordered to do, and that was that.

Chris Brown has reportedly copped a plea in his assault case, which means that he will serve NO TIME IN JAIL! The judge, however, served Brown with five (5) years of probation and he has to stay 50 yards clear of Rihanna. If both artists have to appear at any type of celebrity event together, they are stay 10 feet from each other, until their next court hearing in August.

Brown also has to serve 180 days of community labor in his hometown (Virginia) picking up trash, pulling weeds, washing fire trucks, etc. He also has to enroll into a domestic violence counseling program and will be supervised.

I feel a little bad for Chris, but if you do the crime, you have to serve the time (whichever way it goes). Justice has been served!

Rihanna Appears in Court Today

The day has finally come! Yes! Rihanna will appear in court with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown to possibly testify against him for abusing her this past February in Los Angeles. Brown has two felony charges against him at the moment, but is looking to have them lessened to two minor charges if Rihanna's testimony isn't believable. Although she has to appear in court, she doesn't have to take the stand at all, but of course, she might get hit with some charges if she doesn't.

I really hope she testifies against Chris. VIOLENCE IS NOT THE ANSWER! That's the moral of today, tomorrow, and all of the days of our lives. Stand up for ANTI-DOMESTIC ABUSE people.

Will.I.Am VS. Perez Hilton

Every morning, when I wake up, the first I do is turn on my computer. Hello, I'm a blogger, why wouldn't I do that first? Lol! Anyway, so the first thing I did after everything loaded up was sign into my Yahoo! Messenger and my buddy Keenan is like, "OMG! Do you hear what's going in H-Wood?". I respond, "No, but I will find out as soon as I get my juice in my email." Boom! Right when I checked it, it was a message at the top with a subject saying "Will.i.am. vs. Perez". So, I rushed for that, since I knew the MuchMusic Awards were hoested last night. I look at the message and this person is stating that will.i.am physically attacked blogger (my favorite) Perez Hilton at an after party. UH UH! NO WAY! I look at both videos after reading Perez's Twitter status stating that he was bleeding from some punches to othe face. You could tell will.i.am was lying because he stuttered throughout the whole thing and he left some stuff unsaid in my opinions. Perez's video was genuine, I could tell. I felt it in my spirit. You could tell that he was a little terrified after what happened. I'm appalled at the Black Eyed Peas right now and I just have to say this about them:

If you're going to be an artist and you plan on staying in the game for a long time, always be prepared for good, bad, and ugly to be said about you and your work. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. There are critics that write things about your work when it's released and in all honesty, Perez is no different. He's a famous blogger with a site that 10 million people view on a regular basis, what do you expect?! He is entitled to his own opinion on what anyone does. He might get a little harsh with words, but I'm sure he means no harm. The man is entitled to his own opinion. People are going to say things about what you do and how you do it, regardless. Just because someone says something you don't like hearing or reading doesn't mean you have to attack them violently in public. Then, will.i.am laughs about it in the end. What the hell? I have lost respect for him. I've lost respect for Fergie because she's instigated the entire thing. Perez, you rock! You stood your ground. will.i.am didn't have to get in your face like that over something so small. I don't blame Perez for standing up for himself after what will.i.am was saying in his face. I hate that he got attacked though. VIOLENCE IS NOT THE ANSWER PEOPLE! IT LEADS TO DEATH, POSSIBLY! STOP IT! If you're going to be artists, this is expected. Get used to it. Roll on and do what you believe in doing, regardless of what anyone says. The man was entitled to his opinion. Deal with it!

Cassie: "Up in Here"

I'm not really a big fan of Cassie, but she has been busting a lot of songs lately that are supposed to appear on her upcoming release from Bad Boy, Electro Love, coming out this fall. "Up in Here" is very upbeat song, it features nothing but layers and a minor setback to the '90's production wise, but it's hot. I'd dance to the instrumental indeed. Toni Braxton: "Pulse"

With an upcoming album coming out soon from her new label, Atlantic Records, Grammy winner Toni Braxton is hard at work on her long awaited new album which has yet to be titled. So far, she has work with the Underdogs, Claude Kelly, and Darkchild. A new song, "Pulse", was leaked this week and we're so loving it. Toni better work. It's a very smooth ballad with some killer Toni vocals and belts. Girl still has that gifted, one of a kind voice indeed. Listen below.

"Echo" is one of the most cocky songs I've ever heard from R&B/pop superstar Ciara. She's just mainly talking about how good it is to be her and have all of the luxuries that she obtains in her glorious lifestyle. Although I'm not for cocky stuff, this song is a bit empowering for the ladies. She uses her lyrics very well to encourage them to get on their hustle so that they can have the same thing because it's possible, as long as you work hard.

This was the first sexy thing I saw this morning, well of course, I saw my boyfriend's sexy face first, but anyways, I saw this man on TV and everytime I see him, it's beautiful sight. Michael Jai White is not only an actor on the small screen and the big screen, he is an accomplished martial artist, holding seven black belts in seven different styles of martial arts. He has appeared in movies such as Spawn, Why Did I Get Married?, Exit Wounds, and the Dark Knight. Soon, he will appear in the Spawn sequel, a Why Did I Get Married? sequel, and Black Dynamite coming out later this year. If you don't think he's sexy, then you're retarded.

Rihanna Says NO CAMERAS!

With all of the turmoil that she's experienced from the beating of her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and the leakage of photos from her bruises to her body parts, Rihanna deserves a little privacy in the public eye. During her court date next Monday for the charges against Brown, Los Angeles Judge Patricia Schnegg will not allow any cameras in the courtroom during the hearing.

I think this pretty far for both Rihanna and Chris Brown. With the paparazzi, the press, and people making deaths threats, the "no-camera" rule is definitely a blessing. Cool beans!

No More Amy Lee for Evanescence?

While of all the Evanescence fans are waiting on a comeback from the Grammy award-winning rock band, they'll be a little bit surprised to see a new, yet similar group arrive on the scene sometime next week.

Lead singer Amy Lee announced on the group official website on June 19, that the group are already working on material to be released next year.

While this is going on, former band members Ben Moody, John LeCompt, and Rocky Gray joined forces with drummer Marty O'Brien to form a new band called The Fallen. The frontwoman for this group is American Idol contestant Carly Smithson. Smithson was a AI contestant on Season 7. The band will be begin touring in September of this year.

This is definitely looking a resurrection band and I'm not too fond of it. Amy Lee is one of my favorites, so I'm sure she will continue to do great things. I will keep an eye on The Fallen, though this is a little shady. Just my opinion.

RichGirl Is Opening Act for Beyonce U.S. Tour Dates

Rich Harrison's new girl group RichGirl will serve as the opening act for Beyonce's I Am... Tour during her dates on the state side. The tour will kick off on June 21st at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Let's hope this can give the girls a good amount of fan base and some positive feedback as live singers and performers. I wonder how they'll do on July 1st here in Atlanta.

The Black Eyed Peas Reign the Charts

In this week chart success story, the Black Eyed Peas destroy at least eleven charts in Billboard chart issue this week. This in all honesty is a first for the group, scoring their first #1 song in the country with "Boom Boom Pow" and their first #1 album with The E.N.D. "Boom Boom Pow" has been at the top spot for eleven weeks now and The E.N.D. sold 304,000 copies in it's first week. They truly deserve this. The album is great you all, so I recommend you buy it, for real.

Other debuts on the album chart were Pleasure P's The Introduction of Marcus Cooper, charting at #10 for the 1st week, selling 39,000 copies. This is Pleasure P's solo debut, following his departure from R&B group Pretty Ricky. Personally, I couldn't really bite into this one. It's a bit premature. Mos Def's recent album The Ecstatic stomped on at #9.

As for the singles charts, the Black Eyed Peas also hold the #2 spot with their brand new single, "I Gotta Feeling". Keri Hilson keeps it cute and consistent, staying at #3 with "Knock You Down". Lady GaGa glides up one spot from #6 to #5 with "LoveGame". "Fire Burning" from Sean Kingston climbs a spot as well from #9 to #8.

Kelis Wants EVERYTHING AND MORE!

With Kelis only having a monthly income of nearly $21,000, yet somehow she spends almost $81,000 a month, asking Nas for support in everything is all she can do. She hasn't toured in years and hasn't released an album ever since 2006. So, in reality, we all know that the breadwinner in this marriage was Nas.

Kelis is asking for spousal and child support, and royalties from all property that they've so-called owned together. She even wants Nas to pay all of her maternity and hospital fees when she gives birth and pony up money for possible post-pregnancy surgery. The couple own five homes throughout the country. Not only does Kelis want all of that, she wants to be able to keep every piece of jewelry she was ever given, so that she can put it all up for appraisal and sell it in auction. Sounds like someone is money hungry to me. But hey, you have to feed your child, I'm not mad about it.

I have no idea how Nas is going to get away with not giving anything if they have child coming soon. Not only that, the dude cheated, according to Kelis' recent Twitter statuses. Men, if you cheat, that's a big fine you'll have to pay in divorce court, regardless of how hard you try not to pony up to green. Good luck with this case.

BET Awards Performance LineUp

The BET Awards are right around the corner and all of Black America are waiting for the network's biggest day to come to light. The show will broadcast live on June 28th at 8 p.m. from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The performance lineup includes artists Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Maxwell, Young Jeezy, Ne-Yo, and Soulja Boy. Jamie Foxx will host the event. Make sure you guys tune in and see what's cracking. "Obsessed" Shipped to Radio; Memoirs Get Release Date

The lead single from Mariah Carey's forthcoming 12th album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, has been shipped to radio outlets today and it's called "Obsessed". The song was written and produced by Carey, The Dream, and Tricky Stewart. I just listened to it and I love it a lot. She is staying consistent with the fads of our generation, but somehow bringing the old Mariah back, which I love.

"Slow Me Down" is a song by actress/singer Emmy Rossum. This beautiful piece of work is just absolutely amazing and has taken my breath away. A favorite amongst the contemporary dancer in the US, this song is the tale of a girl wanting to slow her life and take it one step at a time. Embracing every moment means a lot to her. I can definitely relate to this a lot. As humans, we all tend to feel this way when things rush by so fast.

Rihanna Gets Subpeaoned

After much deliberation, Rihanna must show up in court to testify against Chris Brown later this month. She is not able to back down from this at all. Brown has been charged with two misdeamenor charges, but has pleaded guilty. Let's see how this works. Some witnesses need to be in the stand on this case as well.

Also, yesterday, both individuals avoided contact at the Lakers' Game. Rihanna sat in the stands and Brown sat courtside. That had to feel extremely strange for the both of them.

Miley Cyrus Pisses off Radio Show Host

During an interview this morning on the MJ Morning Show in Florida, a host got a rude awakening from Miley Cyrus and her communication handlers. Before the interview started, the host was provided with a list of questions he was unable to ask Cyrus. When she called in this morning, she started off with a scream of being terrified of a bug. Afterward, the conversation ran smoothly, and as soon as MJ asks her if she received a personal apology from Jamie Foxx after he bashed on her his radio station. Right then and there, her handlers hung the phone, and MJ is infuriated, repetitively saying, "You've got to be kidding me!".

No kidding dude! See, MJ looked at the list that said "DO NOT ASK", but he still felt like some of the question could be asked. He thought wrong and got a slap in the face through the phone. If he's mad at Miley, then he shouldn't be. It's not her fault at all. She has HANDLERS!!!

Lil Wayne Impregnates Nivea and Lauren London

As if he already didn't have two children already, it is rumored that rap superstar Lil Wayne has had relations with singer Nivea and actress/model Lauren London.

It has been speculated that Lauren London had already been pregnant with his child for quite a while, now but the juice gets thicker as we all discover that he has also gotten Nivea pregnant. Not only will he have a child with Nivea, the two plan to get married soon.

Wayne has vowed to be a good father to the baby he will have with London, although a relationship will not be in the mix.

I am so proud to see that Keri Hilson has been climbing the charts strongly with her current single, "Knock You Down". The song has a new peak position, rising from #7 to #3 on this week's issue of the Billboard Hot 100.

The Black Eyed Peas still reign the top of the chart with "Boom Boom Pow". The song has spent 10 weeks at #1 and is the third best-selling single this year with 2.5 million downloads.

The second this song faded out, I wanted to hear it again and again and again. Indeed, this is my favorite song of all time.

"Breathe (2 A.M.)" is by Anna Nalick. She's not very prominent in the music industry, but this song has made an impact on some notable celebrities lives. It talks about how all humans make mistakes and we all struggle, but it's only temporary. We have to keep pushing on because we only live once. My favorite line is:

Chris Brown Packs Up More Security

With all of the death threats rolling along Chris Brown's path, the singer has added more security to his enoturage.

Brown has been receiving death threats from a women's group called "Women's Protection Action League". The women claim that they're protagonist will pose as a normal paparazzi. Although this may sound crazy and fake, reports have shown that this is actually legit. Brown has tightened his security so well. He won't go out with a minimum of three body guards. He has three or four additional boydguards and some of them happen to be female.

I'm sure this man is paranoid as hell. No should get death threats, I don't care what they've done. I hope they get a restraining order or something on these women.

Usher... Are You Cheating?

R&B superstar Usher is rumored to have been stepping out on his new wife, Tameka Foster. The singer was spotted with a staffer for Island Def Jam, identified as Grace Miguel.

Last week, KM Press Group photographed Miguel and Usher -- who married Tameka Foster in 2007 -- at Malibu Country Market, and the singer wasn't wearing his wedding band. Then, late Thursday night, he and Miguel were snapped by X17 entering the Sun set Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood. In February, Page Six reported Foster, who lives in Atlanta with her kids, was livid because Usher refused to let her come to Las Vegas, where he was recording his album. Usher's rep refused to comment. Miguel didn't return calls.

Cheating should not be tolerated by any woman or man who is faithful, by any means. You would think that he really had changed since he was talking about it on his last album, Here I Stand. Usher... GET IT TOGETHER! I hope he isn't doing anything unpleasant to his wife's sight with this woman.

Song of the Day: "After the Hurricane"

"After the Hurricane" is one of the most amazing songs that Ms. Jazmine Sullivan has written so far in her career. The lyrics stand out at its best, telling the sorrowful story of a bad break-up and enduring the pain that you're left with. I'm sure a lot of us have been through some bad break-ups in our lifetime, but after the hurricane, the rainbow appears. All the pain soon erases and you're better off with the one that mistreated you. This song might sound a little depressing, but it got me through a rough break-up after a very meaningful relationship.

"After the Hurricane" was written by Jazmine Sullivan, Tor Erik Hermansen, and Mikkel S. Eriksen. It is from her debut album, Fearless, which was released on September 23, 2008 through J Records/Arista Records.

Sexiness of the Day: Quinnes Parker

I know it's like almost 12 a.m. and another day is about to start, but let just say this. All of a sudden, earlier, a thought came across my mind about the R&B male group 112 and I started thinking about where they've been at for a minute. Turns out that all, but 3 members are still together. Mike left the group because of some money issues.

Of course, my fave member is Q. Parker. Very very debonair! I almost died looking at his pecs and that beautiful six pack.

The Upcoming Mariah Single

Last month on her Twitter account, singer-songwriter Mariah Carey let all of her lambs know the title of her upcoming album, called Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. Almost done with the album, Carey has already chosen the first single, a track entitled "Obsessed". The song was co-written by Carey, The Dream, and Tricky Stewart. It should hit airwaves sometime next week on June 16. Aren't we excited? Well, I can speak for everyone, but I'm UBER-EXCITED!!! GO MARIAH!!!

Ciara's "Like a Surgeon"

The other single that will be released right along with "Work" from Ciara's Fantasy Ride album is the mid-tempo track "Like a Surgeon". The song was written by The Dream and producer by his partner Tricky Stewart. "Like a Surgeon" has already charted on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs, peaking at #92. It will only be released in the U.S. sometime this month.

The video has not been filmed yet, since Ciara is on tour with Britney Spears in Europe. She is the opening act for Spears' second leg of the Circus Tour.

20 Second Preview of Ciara's "Work" Video

A 20-second sneak peek of Ciara's upcoming video for her next single, "Work" has been all over the internet. The song features rapper/singer Missy Elliott and is one of two singles being released next from Ciara's current album, Fantasy Ride.

The video is rumored to premiere on June 16. Hope it's a good. She should definitely take advantage of the super heroine concept she has going on. Take a peep below.
