Song of the Day: "Slow Me Down" by Emmy Rossum

"Slow Me Down" is a song by actress/singer Emmy Rossum. This beautiful piece of work is just absolutely amazing and has taken my breath away. A favorite amongst the contemporary dancer in the US, this song is the tale of a girl wanting to slow her life and take it one step at a time. Embracing every moment means a lot to her. I can definitely relate to this a lot. As humans, we all tend to feel this way when things rush by so fast.
Emmy rose to fame after her critically acclaimed role in Phantom of the Opera, portraying the character Christine Daae.
"Slow Me Down" is from Emmy Rossum's debut album Inside Out which was released on October 23, 3007 through Geffen Records. The song was written by Emmy Rossum and Stuart Brawley.
