Song of the Day: "Accept Me" by Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson is my favorite artist of all time and she has delivered some of the most powerful songs ever written in music history. From HIV, to domestic abuse, to poverty, and even good sex, this woman has preached about it all and she became one of the world's biggest selling artist of all time. "Accept Me" is straight forward. She's asking her man to love her and accept for her for who she is, regardless of her imperfections. You can't change her, you have to see her for who she is. Don't we all wish we could have a man that would do that and much more? It's so hard to find, but if you get it, don't let it go.

"Accept Me" is from Janet Jackson's sixth album, The Velvet Rope. It was written by Janet Jackson, James Harris III, Terry Lewis, and Rene Elizondo and was released on October 7, 1997 through Virgin Records. Listen below.
